SUD Treatment

Treatment for substance use and co-occurring conditions, from detox through recovery.

When to Consider This Care

Consider substance use treatment if you or someone you care about is experiencing:

  • Alcohol, drug, or polysubstance use that is hard to stop or control

  • Substance use affecting health, relationships, work, school, or daily life

  • Withdrawal concerns or a need for medically supervised detox

  • Relapse risk or repeated attempts to cut back

  • Co-occurring depression, anxiety, trauma, or psychiatric symptoms

  • A need for structured support, stabilization, and recovery planning

Services and admissions criteria vary by facility. If there is an immediate medical or safety emergency, call 911.

What's Included

Substance use disorder (SUD) treatment supports people with alcohol- or drug-related concerns and related behavioral health needs. Some facilities also provide dual diagnosis care for co-occurring conditions. Across the network, care includes:

  • Assessment for substance use and related behavioral health needs

  • Dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring conditions

  • Detoxification and medical detox

  • Relapse prevention, substance use education, and recovery-focused therapy

  • Inpatient rehabilitation, partial hospitalization, and structured step-down support

  • Medication management and aftercare planning

Not every facility provides detox, residential care, PHP, or dual diagnosis programming. Availability varies by location - confirm directly with the facility.
